The British School New Delhi School week/ weekly routine
The Nursery settingThe British School New Delhi Reflecting the EYFS program me, the Nursery is an open-planned setting, which gifts the students with the chances to make choices during each session. Our daily program me is intended to reflect students’ needs, welfares and stage of development. Using separate learning objects, they interact, explore, examine and further develop their message skills through a diversity of learning Centre’s. The British School New Delhi These Centre’s reproduce the seven Key Learning Areas (KLAs) labeled in the EYFS curriculum. Key Learning Areas (KLA's)
The British School New Delhi Each of these Key Learning Areas is similarly important and cannot be brought in separation of each other. Therefore, each knowledge presented to the students nurtures more than one Key Learning Area, thus secondary a rounded method to their growth. Free play underpins all growth and learning for young children. Most children play instinctively and it is through play that they grow intelligently, artistically, physically, socially and expressively. Through our open-planned room children are able to choose from a diversity of activity stations.
Making choices
The British School New Delhi Enabling students to choose between book angle, messy play or building play allows them to make choices shiny their natural interests and instincts whilst learning to make smooth changes between experiences. The Key Learning Areas are combined into our daily program me through a variety of child-initiated and teacher-led involvements. The British School New Delhi All experiences, whether indoors or outdoors, show our sympathetic that all children learn and develop in dissimilar ways and at different rates. This allows them to interrelate in a positive and expressive way, at their own equal and pace.
Progress
The British School New Delhi The progress of each child will be checked through comments, work samples, photographs, collections and Parent-Teacher Sessions. This information will be combined into the EYFS Profile, creating a collective valuation tool, which will help set the student’s personal goals. These profiles also provide a summary of each student’s development towards the Early Learning Goals that are optional by the National Curriculum for England. Composed, these strategies enable us to attain our objective of providing a appropriate level of challenge for happy, well-motivated students.
