British School New Delhi Health,Safety

Students’ security
British School New Delhi we take the security of our students very extremely. As a result we frequently review our security performs, both inside and external the school grounds and building. Whether our students are in class, on a school excursion or at a Sports Day, we device strict security actions to protect them at all times.

Security facilities of the British School New Delhi are subcontracted to Group 4, a leading international security group, and we have regular input and feedback from the Security Officer at The British High Directive. CCTV’s have been installed throughout the building and the border wall is of the maximum height allowable by the local establishments. The school will be going in for razor wiring from Gate 3 till Gate 4 (towards the Augustus Marg) to prevent unauthorized entry to any part of the British School New Delhi.

The guards are fortified with two-way radios, metal sensors for bag hunts and have a telephone at each main gate. Regular guiding visits from Group 4 as well as regular Political Police visits are made throughout every 24 hour dated. Regular fire drills are also approved out throughout the British School New Delhi building.
We have a official written contract with the neighboring American Embassy School to use their site in the event of a major security threat until it is safe to return to our own site.
