Curriculum

The British School New Delhi Primary curriculum has its basis in the Nationwide Curriculum for England safeguarding that students coming from, and recurring to, Britain are able to make the change easily. At the same time, we believe that all students should advantage from the rich experiences that life in India delivers. Therefore, we have modified some curriculum topics like history and topography to make them pertinent to our Indian setting. For example, we use local sites to grow and explore physical skills and past sources.

The British School New Delhi We deliver a broad curriculum which comprises art, music lessons, drama and plenty of generous options. The knowledge, skills and arrogances of religion and project education are comprised with other areas of the curriculum. Students begin to learn Hindi and French in Year 2 and continue till Year 6. There is always an stress on morality, pride and honesty in the usual range of ‘English’ subjects.

The British School New Delhi Children are grouped within the class for dissimilar purposes either in aptitude groups or mixed ability groups contingent on the objectives of each specific lesson.
