Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9)

The British School New Delhi Key Stage 3 containing of Years 7, 8 and 9, has a broad and composed curriculum, which is based on the National Curriculum of England.  The curriculum covers:-

•Modern Foreign Languages (A choice of Hindi, Spanish and French.
  Two subjects are studied in Year 7 and one compulsory subject in
  Year 8. Students have an option of studying a second language in
  Year 8. In Year 9 students will study the subjects they studied in Year 8
•Information Communication Technology (ICT)
•Aesthetic and Performing Arts (Drama, Music, Art)
•Physical Education
•Geography
•History
The British School New Delhi Students are taught in small class sizes – a all-out of 17 students in each unit (each Year group has three sections).
The British School New Delhi Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) is an essential part of the curriculum and is shadowed by all students. Students are given sufficiently of opportunities to develop sureness and transferable and management skills through doings like IAYP, Round Square, MUNA, World Academics Cup and the Key Stage 3 Co-Council.
The British School New Delhi The Student Provision Services offers support and leadership to students through admission to a school counsellor, the amenities of the SEN and EAL sections and a University Guidance Counsellor. To ensure that students achieve their potential, there is a support program me in place that tracks student development through the school year. The British School New Delhi In Year 9, each student, along with parentages, attends a meeting with the Key Stage 4 Co-coordinator and the Therapist to discuss the best trail for subject options.
