The British School New Delhi Our library comprises a rich collection of about 9000 capitals including books, videos, periodicals, newspapers, CDs and DVDs ranging abasing
from general orientation and circulating groups to specialized collections for IB students. It also has 20 laptops obtainable for students to carry out their investigation work and assignments.

The British School New Delhi Library capitals are accessed by an easy-to-use electronic Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) which allows explorations for materials by key-words, or through several admission points like author, title, subject, call number, producer, and year of magazine.

There is always a librarian on duty to help with the documentation of sources on a particular subject, the location of materials, or queries about the library's processes and procedures.

How many items can students borrow and for how long?
The British School New Delhi Students are allowed to plagiarize capitals for a period of one week and can get this period lengthy twice.
      •  Year 7 to 11: Two Items
      •  IB Students (Year 12 & 13):  Five Items
      •  Teachers: 15 Resources including 2 DVDs

Other facilities in the library
The British School New Delhi laptops are connected to a central printer which allows students and operate to print out their projects or research work. It also has a Xerox machine for making copies of leaflets as well as a scanner available to everyone.

Reference section
This section houses the main orientation collection, which is non-circulating and comprises encyclopedias, language lexica, biographical dictionaries, handbooks, atlases and almanacs.

The British School New Delhi This area is devoted to teachers and their diverse needs. There are a range of capitals covering a range of topics including prospectus planning, budgeting, difference, appraisal, bulling in schools and how to cope with children who have learning incapacities and special needs.

Multimedia resources
We have a gathering of around 400 multimedia capitals, which are easily nearby by students as well as operate in the library.

Periodicals and news update
The British School New Delhi This angle contains a group of around 30 journals and 7 newspapers hopeful everyone to update themselves about the activities in and around the world. Our staff is allowable to borrow these journals for up to a week at a time, and students can make use of them in the buildings of the library.

Library facilities for IB students
The British School New Delhi We have an IB reserve collection which has been industrialized to keep a pace with the IB curriculum and to help students with their lengthy research. Only IB students can borrow these books, though, all other students can also mention to these resources in the library.  There is an IB angle which is reserved for IB students so that they education  and are undisturbed from others while employed and there is a reading and conversation room for them to provide additional space and privacy.
