British School New Delhi Commitment Environment

British School New Delhi Commitment Environment

British School New Delhi We aim to progress the next generation to become accountable, powerful and stirring leaders. One of the greatest challenges we are opposite as a population is ecological change. It is our aim to instill a sense of alertness in children today, from the newest Nursery or main student to the oldest IB student, so that they can start to decrease their carbon footmark and help to protect the soil for tomorrow. We believe that cognizance needs to be attended by the ability to take knowledgeable action, both locally and on global issues.

Cognizant of our carbon footprint (the British School New Delhi had started a carbon audit workout with a team of external consultants), we are devoted to making The British School an ecologically supportable or ‘green’ school, as far as we can. We are related with a number of NGOs, including the World Wildlife Fund and ardent ecologists run the Environment Club at British School New Delhi. The situation is about people, places, and spaces, not just the physical setting. We believe in the power of education in helping young people to shape their future settings in an informed and socially just method.
