Rewards and Achievements

The British School New Delhi Giving awards and diplomas to recognize unresolved attainment is a great way to inspire students to do their best. The school is committed to satisfying and acknowledging effort and behavior. We have formal and relaxed systems in place to prize students who make the right selections.

Rewards at Key Stage 3
The British School New Delhi Panther Points are gave to student in Year 7 -9 by subject teachers and instructors for unsettled personal attainment. Students who obtain 5 Panther Points in the same Curriculum Area will be given with a Diploma by the Curriculum Leader.  If a student receives 5 Panther Points from their tutor, then a Certificate is given by the Key Stage 3 Co-ordinator.

The British School New Delhi Students who achieve 3 Curriculum Area or 3 Key Stage Co-ordinator Diplomas will be awarded a Credential from the Principal. These awards will be an continuing process throughout the sequence of each moot year. These should be composed regularly, and once received students should make a note of this on the approval page in their planner.

The British School New Delhi Ekta Sethi Memorial Prize will be given to a student of Year 9 who has showed a positive attitude to learning, has shined in academics and has been a active member in sports/extra-curricular doings. ‘Key Stage 3 Student of the Year Award’ will be given to student who best demonstrates the qualities of the learner profile.

Rewards at Key Stage 4
The British School New Delhi Students in Years 10 and 11 will obtain praise letters from the Key Stage 4 Manager to acknowledge good work.  Once a student in any one year receives 2 praise letters from the Key Stage Manager a third approval will be awarded to the student by the Principal for unresolved personal achievement. The key standards will be that students have made a important contribution to school life or made important personal progress. The British School New Delhi Prizes to students who achieve unsettled IGCSE results will be accessible early in the first semester of each year. ‘Key Stage 4 Student of the Year Award’ will be given to the student who best typifies the attributes of the beginner profile.

Rewards at Key Stage 5
The British School New Delhi Students in Years 12 and 13 will receive letters of praise from the Key Stage 5 Co-ordinator based on the same standards for Years 10 and 11.  The alteration at Key Stage 5 is that once a student receives 3 letters of approval, the fourth commendation will be gave by the Principal for outstanding personal achievement.  The key criteria will be that students have made a important contribution to school life or made important personal progress.

The British School New Delhi International Baccalaureate Award is obtainable by the IB Co-ordinator for the student/students who best meet the standards laid down in the 'Learner Profile' of the IB Diploma.

 Other Awards across the School:
      • Annual Prizes will be presented to a student in every teaching group for the uppermost achievement.
      • The British School New Delhi student who attains the most number of proposals for the best effort across all the subjects will           obtain the Overall Best Effort prize.
      • Term awards for unresolved presence (100%) will be accessible to students by the Key Stage           Managers.
      • The CIS Award for International Empathetic based on criteria published by CIS will be given to the most           worthy student.
      • Each year students from each tutor group will be given The Principals Award for unsettled work in the           first semester.
      • A second Leaders award in the second semester will lead to the Director's Award.
      • New awards for ecological awareness and sustainability across the school will be bestowed to recognize           student inspiration to CAS and Community Service.
