Special Education Needs (SEN)

We give each child the attention s/he requires.
The British School New Delhi Student Provision Services side of the Primary School everything collaboratively with other team memberships, class teachers, professional teachers, education assistants and parentages to support learning and expressive needs of students.

The singular needs section of the Primary School meets the needs of all students with mild to reasonable learning problems either throughout or at any time of their stay in school.

Three levels of provision in the Primary School.
The British School New Delhi In Level 1, the students are reinforced all the time in normal classes with difference in the classroom, and students are reserved for less than an hour in a week.

In level 2, the students are recognized as having needs that need individual support for more than an hour but less than 5 hours. These scholars opt out of distant languages.

The British School New Delhi In level 3, the students seem to have important difficulties which cannot be reinforced in normal classes so they are reserved for support for more than five hours and mainstreamed when they are ready.

How does the SEN department help?
The British School New Delhi SEN department grows Individual Education Tactics (IEP)/ Student Funding Plans (SSP) which are reviewed twice a year.   The normal teachers, parents and bosses are invited for the meeting to donate to the students’ plan. A copy of these plans is given to worried teachers and parents and the original is filed in the students’ binders maintained by the department.

Many students have singular education wants of some kind at some time through their education. The British School New Delhi We aim to help most students overawed their difficulties quickly and effortlessly but a few students will need additional help for some and all of their time in school.

The British School New Delhi In the Primary classes, the Main and Vice Principal along with the Student Support Facilities (SSS) Manager undertake the overall accountability for separate needs.
